About Me
Hi, my name is Betty and I am a qualified, Cruse Bereavement Counsellor with a BA (Hons) degree in Therapeutic Counselling. I have worked extensively with clients with issues pertained to loss, loneliness, depression, trauma, disorders, addictions, self-harm, suicide and relationship issues. As a professional counsellor, I work in accordance to a professional code of ethics and practices outlined by the BACP. My practice is therefore supervised by a qualified supervisor, this means that my client work will be discussed, but no client identity will be disclosed; instead clients will be referred to by a code, or initials.
I provide a confidential, one-to-one online live chat, email and telephone counselling service, offering a FREEFONE number for all your counselling needs. (telephone number provided when counselling commences). All the information processed in sessions is strictly confidential and records are securely kept in lockable files. {Please see Terms & Conditions for reasons why confidentially may need to be broken).
I work creatively, and provide a unique integrative approach using skills obtained from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Psychoanalysis and CBT modalities. I also use my own creative approach cultivated from my many years of working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
I enjoy counselling and my aim in all sessions, is to offer a first class service to all my clients. I provide a warm and holding presence within sessions and am always ready to learn and retrain in order to offer a relevant and life changing counselling experience.
